Register for class.
We encourage you to sign up for classes online. When you register online, you’ll also pay online. While we will accept walk-ins before class if capacity allows, registering ahead of time secures your spot and creates a more seamless class experience.
Our intent is to develop a robust list of rotating instructors. As part of our focus on community-based learning and eating, a wide variety of voices and faces in the role of instructor allows us to reflect diversity in skill sets, food beliefs and culinary tales. We hope you’ll find instructors you love while also taking advantage of the opportunity to learn from many kinds of perspectives and backgrounds.
Before-you-come-to-class reminders and tips
If you want to register for more than one spot, (e.g. your boyfriend wants to come with you) then use the QTY box in the top right to adjust the number of spots you’re buying.
Price listed for registration is for one attendee. It’s like buying a movie ticket or entrance to the zoo. We often make an exception for kiddos; just message us through the contact page.
We’ll always have aprons and containers for you to transport your finished products home, but we love it when you bring your own.
Expect class to run approximately close to the advertised run time. It’s cooking!
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before class begins. If you find yourself downtown a bit early, consider grabbing a beverage at one of many restaurants or enjoy a stroll through Goods for Cooks to see what’s new.
For active participant classes, plan on a bit of manual labor. You might be whisking, kneading, chopping, stirring, etc. We can provide seating if standing for the entire duration of class isn’t feasible— just ask!
We suggest parking in the Morton street parking garage. Parking is free in city garages and meters on Sundays.
Long hair should be tied back, up, claw-clipped, out of the face— you get it.
Ideally, if you have a food allergy, let us know through our contact page before you register for a class. We can strategize about adjustments you might need.
Leave us a Google review and tag us in your Instagram posts. We hope you really enjoy class!
RSVP for a tasting event.
If you’d like to join us for one of our scheduled wine tastings, we encourage you to RSVP online. There’s no fee associated with the RSVP, but there may be an admission fee when you arrive at the event. Our space is limited, so RSVPs facilitate the highest-quality experience possible.
We believe wine can create connection, community, conversation and a sense of humanity that is all too often lost in our modern age. Our tasting events will be designed to help you explore expertly selected wines. Consider putting your phone away, being present and enjoying what wine can offer. The best part? Ordering a case and knowing you’ll love it!
Picnic Party on 4/24
Tickets are available above listed with class registration. We will accept walk-ins but prefer you buy your ticket online prior to the event.
